Delivery
We are happy to deliver our cakes and cookies as long as we are available.
Delivery within the Des Moines Metro Area is free. Anything outside the
Des Moines Metro Area (20 mile radius) will be charged 0.40/mile.
We can not ship cakes at this time.
Flavors
Each cake is made to order using only the freshest ingredients. We will
try to accommodate any request. Standard flavors that are offered can
be found on our Flavors
page under the Information tab.
Ordering
Information
We take orders via email
or phone (515-360-8696). We would prefer at least 1 week notice, however
we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Because we are a small
in-home bakery, we are limited to the number of orders we take. Wedding
cakes require 8 weeks notice, but generally are reserved 6-8 months
in advance. Reserve your date early!
Deposit
Weddings- A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering. Payments
can be made with cash, check or money order.
Celebration Cakes/Cupcakes- A deposit is not required at this time.
Cancellation
and Refunds
Weddings- A deposit of 50% is due at the time of ordering . Balance
is due in full within 2 weeks of the event.
Celebration Cakes/Cupcakes- If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or the delivery is denied, the customer is responsible for the balance.
In the event of a cancellation:
- All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
- If a cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the delivery date, the deposit will be refunded less the $50 administrative fees.
- If a cancellation is received less than 8 weeks prior to the delivery date, the deposit will forfeited.
